Chaired by Assistant Secretary for Livestock Dr. William Medrano, the Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF) convened concerned Department of Agriculture (DA) officials and key swine stakeholders in a video conference to discuss pork-related issues.

Bureau of Animal Industry OIC Director Dr. Ronnie Domingo presented the African Swine Fever situation and updates while DA Price Enforcement Unit Head Col. Pedro Sanchez talked about the pork prices.

Dr. Domingo also showed to the private stakeholders the proposed strategies and initiatives to address the increasing pork prices and other related issues during the video conference.
