The Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF) recently welcomed six newly hired and promoted employees as the latest addition to the 84 plantilla positions of the agency.
The six employees recently took their oath of office before PCAF Executive Director Nestor Domenden in Quezon City on different dates.
On January 24, 2023, Bernadette Boado, Engr. Shawn Zedrick Taguiling and Mark John Rey Awacay pledged as Development Management Officer (DMO) I. The three new hires will be assigned to the Partnership Development Division (PDD) and Policy Development and Coordination Division (PDCD).
Boado assumed the position under the Capacity Development Section of PDD. On the other hand, Engr. Taguiling was assigned to the Strategic Concerns Section while Awacay to the Sectoral Policy Development Section, both in PDCD.
Early in January, Joane Carla Auditor was promoted as Planning Officer III and assumed the Chief of the Planning and Programming Section of the Planning, Monitoring and Knowledge Management Division. She took the oath of office on January 19, 2023.
On December 18 last year, Brian Babaran assumed the post of Administrative Officer I under the Cash Section of the Administrative, Finance, and Management Division while Natalianne Marie Delos Reyes assumed the DMO II position under the Council Support Coordination Section of PDCD.
PCAF also conducted an onboarding activity on January 10 for its newly appointed employees to help them adapt and learn more about the agency. Another onboarding activity will be conducted on January 26.
