Ensuring that the agri-fishery stakeholders can get consistent and good quality services, the Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF) had undergone a series of evaluation on its quality management system (QMS). The PCAF family, led by Executive Director Sarah Gutierrez-Cayona, commissioned TUV Rheinland Philippines, an accredited certifying body of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to validate the agency’s customer requirements and quality approaches following the standard criteria sets out by the ISO.

After rigorous preparations and compliance with the requirements, PCAF is now a certified ISO 9001:2015 compliant. The PCAF management and employees were in celebratory mood for this milestone. The year 2018 ended with enthusiasm as everyone contributed in making PCAF an ISO-certified government agency.
