In a video conference, Regional Agricultural and Fishery Council (RAFC) Mindanao A Cluster  discussed agriculture and fisheries sector issues and concerns amid COVID-19 on May 20, 2020.

One of the challenges confronting the sector during the pandemic is the food supply availability and adequacy in the region, which includes price-related issues, production-related issues, and unhampered movement of agri-fishery products and inputs.

Other items discussed were the following:

* Member validation and recruitment of new members

* CSO accreditation

* RAFC administrative and financial concerns on the consultation and monitoring (strategies to be continued/changed under the “new normal”)

* Liquidation reports
