“Use the remaining five and a half months to adjust and accomplish our targets. Dapat by November, halos tapos na tayo sa ating mga targets and have already utilized our budget to better serve our clienteles.”

This is the reminder of PCAF Executive Director Nestor Domenden to the agency’s officials and employees during its Midyear Performance Review and Planning Workshop on June 15, 2023 in a blended format.

A wordplay for the 10th anniversary of the agency, the performance review dubbed as “DiezCo: A PCAF Midyear Party” is one of the activities of the operating units (OU) highlighting the performance and best practices of each OU in achieving client-focused objectives.

It also aims to objectively assess the progress of the agency and its OUs for the first semester in the Fiscal Year 2023 over PCAF’s strategic thrusts and priorities.

The two-day activity, through the Planning, Monitoring and Knowledge Management Division (PMKMD) with the Administrative, Financial and Management Division (AFMD), presented the agency’s performance, specifically the physical and financial accomplishment of each OU for the first semester, including the status of US PL480 projects and other continuing funds.

Among the agreements included the submission of the OUs of their catch-up plans and strategies to be submitted for the second semester to the PMKMD-Planning and Programming Section for monitoring purposes.

The OUs were also reminded to fast-track the submission of required documents for the payment of their financial claims before the lapsing and consider the budget implementation reminders presented by the AFMD in the execution of their respective activities for the second semester. | JC
