Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF) OIC Executive Director Julieta Opulencia administered the oath of office to the newest personnel of the Planning, Monitoring and Knowledge Management Division (PMKMD) on August 5, 2024 at the Director’s Office in Quezon City.

Carmelo M. Arce, Jr. pledged as Project Development Officer II and will report to PMKMD’s Project Development Section. 

The section is in charge of the formulation and implementation of guidelines for the use and availment of funds managed by the agency; evaluation of project proposals submitted by the Department of Agriculture and its attached agencies and other government and non-government entities for possible funding; and providing assistance  in packaging project proposals to comply to the form and substance as set in the guidelines.

Aside from Arce, Apple E. Llarena also took the oath as Planning Officer II under the Planning and Programming Section.

The section spearheads the formulation of the agency’s thrusts, medium-term and strategic and public investment programs; formulates annual programs, plans, projects and targets, as well as conducts analysis of level and configuration of organizational, financial, physical and other resources required for implementation, and the results-based framework and measures wherein the agency’s performance may be evaluated.
