OIC ED Opulencia leads the oathtaking of (1st photo) Olimpo, Babaran, (2nd photo) Mateo and Almonte.

In its pursuit of strengthening its workforce, Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF) OIC Executive Director Julieta Opulencia led the recent oathtaking of four employees in Quezon City.

On January 6, 2025, Clarence L. Olimpo and Brian B. Babaran pledged to be Development Management Officer III and Development Management I, respectively. 

Olimpo will serve as the section chief of the Strategic Concerns Section of the Policy Development and Coordination Division, while Babaran will be an addition to the Capacity Development Section of the Partnership Development Division.

On the other hand, on December 5, 2024, Celso R. Mateo, Jr. took his oath as Administrative Officer V while Ryan N. Almonte pledged as Project Evaluation Officer II. 

Mateo will be the section chief of the General Services Section of the Administrative, Financial and Management Division. Almonte was promoted and will still be part of the Monitoring and Evaluation Section of the Planning, Monitoring and Knowledge Management Division. 

“This is a good start for 2025. These newly hired and promoted personnel are expected to significantly enhance the agency’s capacity to serve its Consultative Bodies, as well as address the evolving concerns of our private sector partners in the agriculture and fishery sector, and of course within PCAF,” said OIC ED Opulencia. | Jezebel Campaniel
