#PCAFStories | The Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF) joined the National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) kickoff ceremony on March 6, 2026, at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum in Malate, Manila. The event was anchored on the fourth installment of the “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society” campaign, with the sub-theme “Lead Like the Babaylans, Filipinas.”The Celebration aimed to highlight the leadership and contributions of women in the Philippines and across the ASEAN region, while promoting gender-responsive programs that ensure women have equitable access to decision-making spaces. It also seeks to strengthen collaboration among various sectors to drive transformative change at both the national and regional levels.The kickoff ceremony featured messages and presentations from key leaders, emphasizing the national government’s vision of Filipino women as powerful catalysts for inclusive growth, peace, and development in the Philippines and the broader ASEAN region.Activities also included a trade and services fair, interactive games, trivia contests, and raffle draws.
